MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq met Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan at Jammu and Kashmir House, Islamabad.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the political situation including matters of mutual interest. Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said that the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan have long-standing bilateral relations.
There are vast possibilities for cooperation between the two regions in the fields of education, tourism, minerals, and hotel industry.
He said that the exchange of delegations between Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will provide an opportunity for the people of both regions to come closer to each other.
He said that we need to work together on this. If a tunnel is built from Tao Butt, the decision of both regions will be greatly reduced.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan discussed the possibilities of cooperation in many fields with the Azad Kashmir Prime Minister. Earlier, when the Chief Minister of Kashmir reached Kashmir, the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir warmly welcomed him.
