SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): After 14 years of work to design a sustainable vehicle fit for foggy and snowy weather, Bilal Ahmad Mir, a maths teacher from Srinagar, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), created a solar car.
The Srinagar-based hard-working innovator Bilal Ahmad Mir spent fourteen years of continuous work to develop a solar-powered automobile which he successfully built.
The details show Bilal who works as a mathematics teacher but committed years to analysing luxury car designs since the 1950s until now. Through the integration of modern technology, he developed a vehicle which corresponds with present-day technologies. His work which has appeared in publications across six international countries made him earn the designation “Elon Musk of Kashmir.”
Bilal equipped his solar-powered vehicle with high-tech battery management features together with parking detection capability. Its ability to operate under cloudy and snowy conditions separates this innovation as an optimal solution for Kashmir because sunlight availability is limited there.
Bilal funded the development of his vision through 2 million Indian rupees that he acquired from his own personal finances. The sustainable technology dedication and determination displayed by him have motivated many young engineering professionals in the region.
