Case Flow Management is an organized way for courts to handle cases from when they are filed to when the case is solved. It increases efficiency, avoids delays, transparency, and more importantly, timeliness and an organized manner by which cases can be handled in court.
Some of the key beneficial features of Case Flow Management are efficient case processing, automated tracking and monitoring, timely scheduling and deadlines, transparency and accountability, and better resource allocation.
Cases follow a smooth route through the court system and there is a significant reduction in backlogs as such delays are completely avoided. Cases can be tracked using technology, Judges, lawyers, and court staff can monitor in real-time how the case is progressing.
The cases can be automatically assigned dates for hearings and deadlines so no case is left pending for an unknown period of time. It minimizes human errors and possible corruption in handling cases by providing transparent records of all legal proceedings.
It helps courts prioritize urgent cases and guarantees that judges and legal staff can work more effectively.
Case Flow Management enhances the quickness, effectiveness, and equity of the judicial system. Probably it is more crucial for places that experience backlogs in courts since such settings ensure that justice is delivered without the unnecessary delay brought about by such features.
